About the project

Galerie Šantovka

Galerie Šantovka represents the first phase of the overall revitalisation of an 11-hectare former industrial site in the centre of Olomouc. Opened to the public in 2013, Šantovka spans four floors and offers more than 49,000 m² of leasable area.

A complete range of shops and services is complemented by a multiplex cinema, a professional bowling arena and a wide selection of quality restaurants and cafes. Underground and rooftop parking accommodate 1,000 vehicles. Galerie Šantovka ranks among the 10 largest shopping galleries in the Czech Republic.

The project was designed by Benoy in cooperation with Czech studio A8000. It is a Building of the Year 2014 laureate and winner of the 2013 CIJ Journal Award for Best Shopping Centre Development.

As part of the Šantovka development, a new tram line was built in Olomouc, improving access for customers.
